Vivekananda Students' Home
The Vivekananda Students' Home was started in 1962 for students of Class XI and XII. Students are selected on their basis of merit. It provides :
(i) Right environment for the studies.
(ii) Supplements the academic education with moral, practical and spiritual training and thus helps students in their all-round harmonious development.
(iii) Morning and evening prayers and observance of religious functions etc. contribute towards the development of students.(iv) Indoor games also are provided for.
(v) Essay competition is held every year to enhance the spiritual and cultural side apart from the academic.
Quite a few students on completion of Class XII get selected in prominent institutions like IIT and AIIMS.
