133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address

Dear Participants Namastey,
To commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago address and rekindle his timeless message, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Chandigarh invites students to join the Youth Festival on the theme “Swami Vivekananda’s Message & Viksit Bharat 2047”.
Swamiji believed the youth are the nation’s backbone, stressing character, confidence, and service beyond self-interest. He urged young minds to draw strength from India’s cultural heritage and work for national upliftment.
This festival offers you a chance to reflect on his vision and share your thoughts through speeches, discussions, bhajans, and more. The main program will be held on September 11th, 2026.Outstanding participants will receive cash prizes, certificates, and inspiring literature, while all selected entries will get participation certificates.

Hard-copy Submission:
The Participation Form needs to be filled, passport size photo to be affixed, and submitted at the Ashrama office (open 10.00 am to 6.00 pm, all days), along with photocopy of College ID and participation fee of Rs. 50/- (by cash), on or before 25th August, 2026.
Online Submission:
In case it is not possible to deposit the form and essay at the office, the form can be downloaded from this site, duly filled and photo affixed. The form is to be scanned as pdf (@ 300 dpi), essay also to be scanned as single pdf (@ 300 dpi), screen-shot of fee payment Rs.50/- (QR code shown below) and photocopy of College ID to be sent by email at rkmchdevents@gmail.com, on or before 25th August, 2026.
